This concert was recorded and supposedly broadcast on television. The recording isn't much more than a bootleg video. There is one main angle and very few variations. There is also a lot of annoying video effects that can't really be blamed on the fact that it was the 80s. It is only one of two visual documents for the Smiths in 1984 so despite all this, still very interesting to watch on bootleg video or DVD.

ahhh - yes - the infamous versailles DVD - whoever ruined all this amazing footage with those unBELIEVABably ridiculous video effects should be tracked down and shot on the spot.

Wow! how bout them there visual effects!!! woohoo. i can imagine the video editor looking at this now and saying... "i swear to god i swear i never even knew what drugs were!"
cause it looks like that person was on some fer sure. 80s or no 80s, its like the transitions in the star wars movies. still a great vid. thanks a million! again!
