Wicked. Just remembered, have been meaning to tell you (why are you off msn?!) about this book I stumbled upon yest and you should look it up in your library. It's called Animals & Women and it's by Carol J Adams and Josephine Donovan (Duke University Press, 1995). And it's all about how there's a theoretical link between the way women are subordinated and animals are abused in the name of this patriarchal, capitalist society. Which is what we've been saying over a bottle of gin all along!!! Anyway, it's brilliant, you'll like it
