To tell the truth, I only gain weight when I swim as my main form of exercise. Running and walking daily might be your best bet. All I do now is lift weights.![]()

Maybe you are building up muscles. Muscle is heavier than fat (they tell me)
I lost loads of weight last year cos I was ill and on medication that made me sick. But then I got better and put it allllll back on. Then it was Xmas so I put a bit more on![]()

Oh, and also dont weigh yourself too often. I only weigh myself every two weeks. It makes it less frustrating to see daily fluctuations...

Now I say this as a massively overweight person (my girlfriend doesn't care so I don't care) but I have been told by reliable sources that the secret is...
Excersise more, eat less.
Apparantly it's as simple as that.
Swimming is really good, but you won't see results that fast. Keep it up for a month and then, so long as you're eating sensibly too, you should see the results. I've got about 3 stone to lose since breaking my foot and becoming really inactive. So I've started swimming 3 times a week and running once, too.
As someone said above...exercise more and eat less (burn more calories than you consume). That’s the best way to start anyway. It’s never as simple as that mind you. A week is not long enough to see real change at all. And don't over do it so early, start gradually.
Work out some sort of routine for yourself and see what results you have in a month’s time.

you might want to pick something you enjoy rather than what is cosidered the best way to lose weight, it increases the chances you'll stick to it.

Im a swimmer and I can say that for the past two months when I've been getting in mid-season form I haven't gained or lost weight. I swim 3 times a week, about 2500meters each season (most timed drills), lift the 2 days im off. I dont think you'll lose so much weight by swimming, you'll gain muscle but you'll become pretty tone. Id stick to cardio.
Don't rake up my mistakes, I know exactly what they are.
on weekend get up later in the day and ull eat a hell less. oh and try drink drinks that have less calories
run every day like 30 minutes, and then start adding 5 minutes each week...you're gonna be fit in some time
