You will never hear me mock Germany about WWI or WWII, I respect every nation and every group of people, I expect the same courtesy to be shown to me too.

I used emoticons too. So I'm jesting as well. I find it incredibly annoying that Europeans tend to be so narrow-minded and act so biggoted against Americans. You find a LOT more foreigners sticking their noses in American business, writing us letters how to vote, tell us to give more money to the UN, telling us to cut back on our military, telling us that we have a debt to the whole world to do what they want for some criminally insane reason. Funny, I don't see France or Poland bombing the US, I could of sworn it was the US in Iraq and not France or Germany.

I don't interfere in the US' business, I will comment on your foriegn policy because it's terribly agressive, I feel I have the right to do so, considering all the news on television is about the US and Iraq.

There is a difference between commenting (I.E., "I don't like your head of state", "I think you should reconsider your diplomatic relations") and hatred and interference ("I demand you withdraw from this country", "you owe this country aid").

So if France passes a law that, say, makes abortion legal for any reason (though I'm pretty sure that is already legal there), I am not allowed to criticize that particular law because France did not go to war in Iraq but any French citizen is allowed to insult me personally because I am an American citizen and my country went to war in Iraq?
