I saw the Fright Night remake in 3d. I'm really loathing this 3d gimmick.
I'm a huge fan of the original so the remake was a letdown. I enjoyed Colin Farrell as Jerry at least.

forced to watch Friends like Benefits last night.....ermmmm, I never did get to the end of the movie. I fell asleep![]()
[SPOILER ALERT]
I saw this movie in the theater with my friend. We couldn't help but laugh at an elderly woman sitting in front of us who had to be in her 70s. It's basically a movie about gratuitous sex and she stuck through MOST of it, we were impressed. I think she was just fed up with all the sex scenes, but it was ironic that she got up and left once the couple started having meaningful sex.![]()
The last film I saw was the truly dreadful Shark Night 3D. It has to be seen to be believed - awful acting and direction, abysmal script, crap 3D and nondescript D-list actors. Unlike most bad films, this one isn't even funny. If I see a worse film this year, I'll be very surprised. Do not waste your money on this staggeringly bad film.

NO! I will not be see The Human Centipede 2! EWW!![]()
In the past couple of weeks I've seen The Guard with Brendan Gleeson, Super 8 and Win,Win with Paul Giammati. Super 8 was a bit naff, but the other 2 were great.
I am not in love, but I'm open to persuasion.
Bringing Up Baby with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. Hilarious!
Excuse me, I am making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up. - The Doctor
I love the White Stripes too. I watched the one season with Matt Smith, but I missed the first episodes of the second season with him, so I will have to wait until it is on DVD. I watched the Christopher Eccleston episodes, and I am now watching the ones with David Tennant. I love the Doctor.

For me it's:
Smith
Tennant
Eccleston
Smith as the Doctor is just awesome to me. (Of the doctors I have the biggest crush on him.) I know there is mixed feelings from Doctor Who fans about him though. He gets hate and love. (I think there was a thread on here a while ago about him looking like he got punched in the face or something.
)

I don't know. I don't know any Doctor Who fans, but I don't know that many people. I was reading about Matt Smith on the internet the other day and it said that the new seasons of Doctor Who are popular here. So I guess it is? Is Doctor Who as big as I imagine there? Does everyone know who he is? (I picture it like Harry Potter here.)

It's huge. Bear in mind that Dr Who first appeared on telly in 1962 and apart from a break during the 80s and 90's it's been a staple of British TV.
The Tardis, daleks and the doctor are almost part of our heritage. My little boy loves the series which is weird since I did aswell when I was his age.
Unfortunately there is not going to be another series next year, instead they will do a couple of feature length specials. Shame.
