The Ringer starring Johnny Knoxville.........it was hilarious, if you are feeling a little down, go watch this film.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning........well, it was gruesome, gory and very much like all the other horror flicks....i found it really annoying coz if i tell you my reason then i'll spoil the film.

I just saw Zodiac yesterday!!! In my opinion, it was EXCELLENT and I can't wait to read the book. I can't believe how twisty it was. Jake G's part was so sweet. Robert Downey Jr. was excellent too. I recommend seeing it if you like twisted, true-crime thrillers.

Well, i watched 11-14 which is a very clever film, very well done, it's a bit like the film 'Crash'.

Well, my partner brought home Borat. He found it really funny, hilarious even. He watched it at work, then came home and watched it again. I found parts funny but no where near as funny as he did. I found it more shock horror. I was screaming at the parts where the nude Borat and his director were running about, but not screaming about it in a good way. My daughter (14) found it really funny. My partner found it really funny. Am i abnormal for not finding it really funny?

La Science des reves (Michel Gondry's new film)...wonderful

Well, actually, that's not the last film I've seen... the last one was Breaking and Entering, the new Minghella film... but I didn't like it that much...it's so-so. :/
Pain is to pleasure as disco is to punk. You need to live through one to fully appreciate the other.

Running With Scissors (dir Ryan Murphy)
Augusten Burroughs' autobiograhical story about a boy who was forced to live with his mother's eccisentric psychiatrist and his family.
It could've been a great film, but somehow it's too long and episodic.
Still a good film to watch for mix of interesting casts - particularly Brian Cox is superb.

    Female Prisoner 701: scorpion

    Joshuu 701-gô: Sasori (1972)

    Directed by
    Shunya Ito

Meiko Kaji: Nami Matsushima (aka Matsu the Scorpion)

"...a film that can easily be named as one of the milestones of the genre, not to mention that it exemplifies Japanese exploitation at its best. "

all a bit nutty really this is the film that inspired Kill Bill.

It's one of the films inspired Kill Bill.
Lady Snowblood (also starring Meiko Kaji, incidentally both films are adoptations of comic book serials) is more relevant.
I'm quite sure that Tarantino and Coen Brothers(Big Lebowsky) read Pynchon's Vine Land and got some ideas from it.

Pierrot le Fou (dir: Jean-Luc Godard)

I saw it almost twenty years ago, but somehow didn't get it at that time.
However, after a long gap finally I enjoyed it very much.
I'm not a Godard fan, but it's undoubtedly his masterpiece.

Hot Fuzz - i enjoyed it but i thought it was slightly over rated...I liked Shaun of the Dead better....still a good giggle but i was hoping for it to be funnier.

I'm pleased to find that Five is going to show "Housekeeping", one of my favourite films tomorrow afternoon.

I saw it four or five times, but haven't watched for a while.

What makes you think that women only love to watch rom-com?
I enjoy watching all genre, except some unworthy stuff.
