The King (2005)
Directed by
James Marsh
i was generally disturbed by this film, not in an unpleasant way but by the story of Gael García Bernal as 'elvis', in search of his father and the sort of quiet evil revenge he deals out to the father he never knew and his new family. A slow moving, well acted movie.
Archangel risin' on the moon
Just to save me from this tomb
I'll cry the tears of time all day
'Til she wipes them all away
I saw 'The Illusionist' yesterday, Edward Norton was fantastic in it, so was Rufus Sewell. I really wanted to see it and i am very glad that i did. It was a mysterious romantic film. I think it is one of the best films i have seen recently. I'd recommend it.
You don’t like me, but you love me
Either way you’re wrong

Greg Kinnear & Pierce Brosnan star in a twisted comedy as pierce plays against type, he is a crude character and does it very well, but the film drags in places but it is very funny in places.

I saw Paul Andrew Williams' directorial debut "London to Brighton" the other day.
It's a low budget thriller, a tart with a heart Kelly trys to protect a teenage runaway Joanne from her pimp.
It's not a masterpiece, but better than average Brit-flick IMHO.
Hmm, it's Steven Segal's debut film on TV soon...![]()

GoodFellas...and it was a GoodMovie
American Dreamz. Made me laugh suprisingly. Strange seeing William Defoe in such a lightweight movie.
