These three books I ordered last week came with the Post today. Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't get my hands on them until I get home.

I'm not sure which one to start with first. Any suggestions?

I'm reading Tobias Ruther's "Heroes: Bowie & Berlin", the story of the Berlin trilogy. Despite a shaky start, including a typo on page one, it's a very interesting read.

It includes, of course, the Bowie as fascist sympathiser controversy, which he seems to have gotten away with primarily because he was off his tits on coke the whole time and on a run of musical form few artists have even approached.

thats a neat period of time there. fripp had a lot to say about that stuff. i think he got away with it because no one believes bowies believes in anything which served him well in his and its time and super frustrated him later in life. opposite with morrissey though equally frustrating to the man im sure

hmm such a good album. ok ok but youre on the list and the only other person i know whos read that book. fantastic though isnt it
