You can change the color?'... how???'
Brown, didn't know that you could change and I will not change now that I know.
What would Birgit Friggebo do?
blue - the brown looks really old fashioned and i find the blue easier on the eye

Mine is brown. I used to have it blue but then someone's sig had a brown background (I think it was you, Chica, come to think of it) so I changed it back to brown and it looked nice.

Thanks, Anna. I've switched it back now, it was too chaotic.
I have it blue just simply prefer it.
hallo drunken goldfish and thank you for your interest.
i do, indeed, have a pair of very busy slippers. in short, they're very cosy and they keep m'wee tootsies snug (particularly in winter). owing to the cosy factor, i like to wear them as much as possible whilst at home - hence, "busy"!
i know that the humble slipper is much derided, these days, by the younger set but - for me, anyway - they are irreplaceable. until about a year ago, i had a lovely pair that had a velcro strap to stop them slipping off as you walk around - a kind of bootee, if you will. sadly, though, those days are gone.
additionally, i am the proud owner of an electric slipper: it heats up, and everything! it also has vibrate settings!(isn't modern technology great?!)
it's great when you're watching "heartbeat" or enjoying a good book, on a cold winter's evening.
if you have any other questions, feel free to ask! i really am a slipper enthusiast.
i'm 84, you know.

Since I joined, I was using brown - until approximately 30 seconds ago when I learned how to change the colour!![]()
I do so enjoy a good slipper story.![]()
