Sooo.........
Which band would you love to see cover Morrissey or The Smiths and which track would you like them to do?

I wrote earlier that I would love Robbie Williams to cover "Come back to Camden" and I'll stick to it ;)

Sorry, it sounds really terrible idea...RW has no class to sing such a beautiful song.

Ewan McGregor then? I love them both the same! :p
Not many people can sing Morrissey's songs because he makes them to suit himself, but I think Robbie would pull off this one, because it's classic and Robbie has a great voice and a good vocal technique.

Rufus Wainwright - Late Night, Maudlin Street
Nick Cave - Dear God Please Help Me
Pet Shop Boys - Alsatian Cousin
Tom Waits - I've Changed My Plea To Guilty

And the ultimate bonus track: Eminem - Sorrow Will Come In The End

My bloody valentine should sing alsatian cousin and the new kids on the block should do life is a pigsty

Hmm,

Bear Quartet - Alsatian Cousin
Looptroop :)D) - Late Night, Maudlin Street
Moneybrother - Used To Be A Sweet Boy

How about Johnny Marr covering 'Sorrow Will Come In The End'

Oh, Johnny played Please Please Please at last year's Meltdown festival, I would like so much to hear that!

You've thought about this for some time haven't you davdavon.

I'm not really aware of R Wainwright's material but the other three suggestions verge on genius choices, esp. Waits "Guilty." I can already hear it in my head. Thumbs up!
