Maybe Morrissey is moulting. It usually happens in August for about a month, birds drop their feathers and grow fresh ones for the winter and when they do they become really quiet, their testosterone levels drop dramatically as their body changes, the boys think they're girls and the girls think they're boys, it;s a weird confusing time for birds. And you know how Jim MorrissON was the lizard king? Well maybe MorrissSEY is the bird king? Or queen. And he's moulting now, so he's really quiet, growin' fresh quiff for the winter. Okay I'll just shut up now.

I used to work at the front desk of the Paso Robles Inn for over a year, for two Memorial Day Weekends, anyway. It was the most INSANE weekend of the year due to the Kustom Klassic carshow held every year in the park across the street. The reservation list for that weekend was years in the making, room rates were incredibly inflated but people paid it, they wanted to be in the heart of the action. I met James Hetfield that weekend, super nice guy, had a ratrod. I always think of the poor maids and servers and frontdeskers at Paso Inn this weekend. Insanity! But fun, people revving their chop jobs.
