Did Batman have night vision goggles?

So here's an article on 5 THings You Shouldn't Buy at Costco or Sam's Club. The lady basically says you can get the items cheaper at Target or Wal Mart. I have a feeling the "analyst" Konrad was paid by Wal Mart. THey threw their own company Sam's Club under the bus in order to taint the image of Costco and took a sacrifice of promoting Target in their own promotion.

This article is worrisome because it's manipulating the people into NOT going to grocery stores which are going extinct faster than dinosaurs and encouraging the people to create a reverse Communist state where their buying power is only good at three select stores which will eventually control what we eat and buy. Less diversity means more power for those running the stores that won.

I feel like some of the things looming in my immediate future that I was really worried about being disastrous are actually going to be OK. Maybe even great.

I really really really want to go to Las Vegas NV and go to Circus Circus and the Pink Flamingo Hotel!

No you don't. They are both literally shitholes. Worst casinos on the strips. Unless of course your parents made the reservations and you had no say, then have fun! Don't touch anything!

I sort of want to watch The Finishing Line, but I sort of don't want to have nightmares and a day haunted by the ghosts of kids hit by trains. #amiesworldproblems

I'm going to drive to Clever City tomorrow to take my favorite two-year-old to a tea party for Grandparents Day. I'm subbing for her Nani whose in Wisconsin. :sweet: By "tea" it probably means juice and goldfish crackers.

Oh, I don't want to go out tonight. Oh, I don't want to go out tonight. But I will, for I must...because work is a four letter word. Blah.

Video of Bentley, the second nurse who got Ebola's dog, under quarantine is bumming me out. :( She's probably going to die, he has no idea what's going on and is stuck in a crate at an air force base to be monitored and not touched for a month even though only monkeys get Ebola. Bleh.

Hey handinglove, did you read any of Bast's books? He sure didn't hold back any opportunity to capitslize on his relationship with JD? :squiffy: Are they well written?

Yes, I have both books - the first one written in 1956 and then Surviving James Dean which came out a while ago. I like Bill Bast. I've always trusted him to be honest about Jimmy. He has lived a great part of his life in the shadow of James Dean and that had to be difficult. He knew that Jimmy was incredibly misunderstood, so I think he did take the opportunity to set the record...straight, so to speak. I don't think he wrote the books for any other reason as Bill is well known for his work as a writer for Dynasty and other television shows back in the 80's and 90's. He might have stretched the truth a bit on some things...but mostly I think the books are well written and thoughtful. The only reason he wrote Surviving James Dean is because there was only so much one could publicly write about in 1956...

He's pretty handsome today. JD had good taste.
