    Hello Kate.

I often wonder where those writers get inspirations from.
I hardly read crime fictions, but there is an excellent writer called Natsuki Kirino who often uses real life incidents as the base of her novels which are mobidly fascinating.
However, one of her work is too disturbing to read because of the subject matter.

    Hahaha, very silly.

Edith Sitwell wrote a book about English Eccentrics, after reading her book it seems those people make this country very unique indeed.

Have you got good sleep last night?

I mean...WTF?, but also I can't see that Cycle-Sex Man was doing anyone any harm. Seems a bit harsh, putting him on the SO list, unless it was his intention that the cleaners caught him at it.

My bike is a British Eagle red, 19" mens' hardtail. Thought you might like to know that.

Well, he shouldn't done it in public.
Police regards him like a flasher who offends others.

Glad you had a decent sleep last night.

    I'm fine, thanks.

Mums buy some stuff for their sons rather than daughters.
    You're very lucky indeed!

But he wasn't in public; he was in his hostel room with the door locked. The cleaners had to go and get a master key to let themselves in. The only question, as I implied before, is whether he knew they'd let themselves in or whether he was assuming/hoping they'd just go away and let him finish his little ten-gear knee-trembler in peace.

yeah, that's what i thought, but i'm still confused. apparently, the cleaners had to use their keys to access his room, so he was doing his thing in private. i can't really see how he can be guilty of a "sexually aggravated breach of the peace".

oh, on re-reading the story, it seems that the cleaners knocked on his door repeatedly before using their key, so i'm guessing that they must've argued that he intended to get caught, as you said.

Alas no. You'll just have to imagine my black-rubber-clad front suspension fork and well-oiled derailleur.

My son rides an identical bike to mine. Does that make us pervy?

the other thing that occurs to me is, what sort of muppet actually reports someone to the police for shagging their bike, behind closed (and locked!) doors?! granted, as fetishes go, it is decidedly odd, but surely the real "story", here, is quite how ridiculously narrow-minded and malevolent some people are.

well, there's certainly something pretty interesting about that but, i think, to be properly pervy, you'd have to share the same bike. do you ever do that? or do you ever swap?

Yep, some people have nothing better than spying others.

We used to share; in fact the reason I bought my bike was that I liked riding Tom's better than my old one. Now, at 16, he's 6ft tall, so you can tell whose bike is whose by the seat height.
