I've developed this thing called Ulna Nerve Entrapment. If I sit at a desk typing or lie in bed playing games on my phone with my arms bent too long, my pinky and ring finger becomes numb and my arm feels like it's falling asleep. Being a fatty and on the the likely list of being a type-2 diabetic some day, I was nervous that my extremities were falling asleep, a symptom of diabetes. So I web MD'd it and found this Ulna Nerve Entrapment thing and ask my doctor and he confirmed that was it. (And they did an A1C and my blood sugar is fine.) It can go away with Ibuprofen, but if it gets worse they do this operation where they open up your elbows and reroute the nerve to lie above your arm instead of underneath it or something, I dunno. Seems like rerouting a messy computer cable which kind of blows my mind that they can do that with tiny body parts delicately connected to important stuff. Also it wakes me up in the night
because I like to tuck my hand under my chin like the thinker statue for some reason and it's starting to make me wake up with a dead hand. It was recommended that I sleep with towels wrapped around my arms which if I ever have an actual love life will make for strange sexytiemz.
