The gay guy was a random client at work who was friendly and we spoke for a while about our common interest in Morrissey. The staff took it as him flirting with me, and it's the only instance of anything coming close to being hit on that's happened. As he's gay, it's pretty far from being hit on, though from the outside looked similar.

The guy in another country is just doing a different set of shows, so our schedules don't overlap. Love interest is WAY too strong of a term; it's more of one of those unidirectional things. I'd just really hoped to meet him. A Morrissey show seemed a great neutral place to meet, but then the bastard added 20 other more convenient dates for him to go to.

Being friends with gay men is great, but on the romantic side you must admit it's rather pointless.

I'm fine. I totally freaked out at first. It was not on purpose, but apparently it was helping keep me too skinny. (I told you doctors, it wasn't an eating disorder!)
