My mom had to tell me that about buttoned shirts. I think I was in the 10th grade though. Actually, the 11th possibly.

Sister, I'm a pissant.
I just wonder if it would be possible for all people here at Solo to get along?
I wish people understood how I often say things tongue-in-cheek and that what seems to be hate on my part is just a bit of banter. I wanna see more friendly banter and less hate here, anyone agree?

That's no good. With me, it's stomach aches. I have recently been going through periods where I get these terrible, gnawing stomach aches that wake me up at night and get so bad I almost can't breathe.
I think I might have ulcers, even though I shouldn't. I few gulps of pepto-bismol or a mouthful of antacids sorts them out pretty quickly, but it's hell when they come on. Bad enough that I can barely grip the cap to get the bottle of pepto-bismol open. It's really peculiar though, because the aches come and go in cycles... like, I will have them for a few nights, then they will go dormant, sometimes for a month, and they seem triggered by the more severe bouts of depression.
I am just fortunate to have such quick relief through antacids. Cramps are the sort of thing you typically have to ride out, which is never fun.

I'm pretty sure anxiety (or anxiety about depression) is a trigger to ulcers and general digestive distress, but food is a big deal too. Have you kept a journal of what you eat and whether it relates to the cycles? My friend was experiencing esophagal pain that she equated to chest tightness which turned out to be acid reflux. THe pain literally went away when she stopped drinking carbonated beverages, eating ketchup and chocolate and acidic things. Maybe it;s something like that that doesn;t hit you till later on down the line.![]()
Social anxiety? Oh, yeah. I've got loads of that too.
I haven't kept a record of my meals, though I do drink a ton of the toxic, deadly aspartame-infused "diet" sodas my mother buys by the ton (I need to post a photo of her stockpile sometime just to illustrate the massiveness of it... she buys tons of it every week, and she probably wouldn't stop even if a doctor told her it was directly linked to any future illness she may/probably will incur).
And my diet sucks pretty badly even without the soda. Not to mention, I put Tobasco AND/OR Sriracha on everything, and the probably sewage-based malt liquor I typically drink (Steel Reserve) doesn't help at all, nor does the chemical-smeared budget rolling tobacco I buy.
It could certainly all be a contributing factor, particularly the Steelies and tobacco (the former of which has been the direct cause of some occasional heartburn), but I never seem to have issues after a meal. It seems like the stomach aches almost always wake me up when I am sleeping, even if I haven't had anything to eat or drink in a long time, particularly after extended periods of "being super-bummed" about a few very particular things.
It could also be related to binging on sedative antihistamines (I use them a lot, being very fond of deliriants, for their entheogenic properties [and affordability], and not trusting the incalculable potency of plant-based deliriants). I have read that certain antihistamines are in fact used to TREAT ulcers. The high doses and "withdrawl" periods when they are not being used could perhaps--theoretically--cause a "shock to the system" when they are not present.
It's likely a combination of all these things. One thing I do know is I really like talking about myself, as evidenced by this post.
I have a bad habit of making discussions all about me. How are your cramps?![]()

Avoid fizzy drinks altogether as they only makes you fat and that goes for the socalled diet ones as well which will trigger your blood sugar even more. I remember my mom eating a biscuit that was supposed to be good for diabetics and she tested her blood sugar levels after she had it and it soared.
If you are angry a lot and have issues that can give you heartburn but what you eat is usually the biggest factor. Avoid fried food as your frying pan may well be the cause of your stomach upsets and since I cut out almost all fried food I got a lot better. We also do not need the frying pans that were made for the people that have to live in outer space onboard a space station so get one that we as humans used before NASA got their minds set on fooking up or stomachs and general health. Humans are not used to or made for fried food and over many generations back people cooked what they ate.

Oh, how I've missed you.
Sister, I'm a pissant.
Whoa; I just found out that the chick who plays Megan, Don's mind-numbingly hot secretary in Mad Men Season 4, who marries him, is the same broad who is topless in the hot tub with the black guy from The Office in Hot Tub Time Machine.
Jesus...this topic shouldn't be at the bottom of the threads! Hope everyone is okay and well!!
I'm in the middle of sorting out my band and getting a new job, so I've been a bit busy.
Oh yeah, check out "Suede - Art" if anybody is bored and looking for a song! It's mind blowing! I'll put it onto the song thread for you all to hear, Mike Joyce produced and even played the drums the song!
Hello everyone! Have you missed me? :3

The new Sinead album ain't half bad...
I have to go out of my way to be extra nice to customers because I get a lot of scary looks at my arms. You'd think people in the south have never seen tattoos. I'm too tired to keep this up right now. Just 3 hours left of my shift. Ugh.
There's going to be a little Viva Hate in roughly 8 months.
It's snowing! WTF!? I thought spring had arrived.
What then is salvation? I believe that salvation is the process through which one suddenly is able to bear that this life is meaninglees, empty, cold and indifferent - in itself a nothingness.
