It supposedly (but I doubt there's a whole lot of truth to it) represents the day that the Pilgrims and Indians all came together and shared a meal together and gave thanks for the bountiful earth. Whether this occassion happened before or after the pilgrims gave the indians cholera-infested blankets, I'm not sure, but in America we usually gather with family and eat turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, string beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumkin pie for dessert. And we watch football. And in the morning is the Macy's Day parade. And mid day there is the Westminster Dog Show. It's a movable feast, always on a Thursday and the next day is "black friday" which is a retail holiday where you;re supposed to go spend all your money Christmas shopping. Most everyone has a fourday weekend which is why people are in their pajamas.

I think Britains should have a day where Jesus met the Aliens from planet Zutha and planned their attack on the evil trade federation army....and for our evening meal a simple KFC or a meal from the nearest takeaway would do
