oh dear I wish I could help you, but I spent 3 years being arty not writing essays, so I don't think I'm the right person to help you!

This car alarm is REALLY ANNOYING

It's not really an easy just a theme for our work, but I think I'm making it difficult for myself, we're supposed to write a paragraph on our theme to give to our tutors 'Now Angela, what's you theme?' 'Um, well..ah, you've got me there, I read this thing in a book once see....'

I'm so confused, I have to think of a theme for my Portfolio, and I have disorganised thoughts about the 'physe' and the 'physique', the self, the soul, in contrast to the physical shell, I read some stuff in an Egon Shiele book, and I thought I could use some passages from Dorian Gray, or something, but I can't make sense of it

So I'm going to just do what I like, and halfway trough I'll look at what I've done, and attach a theme to it, and spend the other half linking it all together Er, maybe not advisable, but I tried!

I am in shock over the hanging death of one of my very favorite authors, David Foster Wallace. He was the author of the masterpiece, "Infinite Jest". This has blown me away. I've been crying about it for the last five minutes. I just cannot believe it. Apparently he suffered from bipolar like I do. He was funny, ("Something Fun I'll Never Do Again"- being on a cruise ship, hilarious, and his other works were so precious. I feel like someone knifed me in the gut.

Oh, I like it I'm not actually doing a portfolio course, because I'm applying to the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, where they reserve 50% of the places for students fresh out of secondary school. So I (hopefully) have as good a chance getting in by doing my portfolio with my art teacher's help while in my final year at school.
Would love to be just spending the whole year at art though, what's your course like?

are you still a goth now? my friend said that being a goth evened her out because the black outer image balanced out the happy person inside.
