Oh, god, I just realized he's probably going to rip the sink out tonight. No, please, no. I'll be unsinkerated for three weeks if that happens. Must come up with a distraction tactic... what can I do?

I also have enough flooring in my garage to do the remaining two bedrooms upstairs, and new tile for my kitchen floor. It looks great and is very functional in boxes on the garage floor...
I know EXACTLY what you mean!
My ex h built/remodeled custom homes, and you wouldn't believe how many projects he started in our home but never completed...
exposed wiring, base not installed, holes in drywall...
I still have a number of things to complete around here, but at least the marriage is finished.

I think he's back there now with the sprogs, picking up the bits and pieces to install the sink.

It was a very dry experience, Friday, although I do get to pick whatever I want. My tastes are simple, I chose quickly.

Be very glad you were not related to my grandfather.

He'd wake up in the mornings and announce something such as this:

"WE'RE MOVING THE FIREPLACE. EVERYONE GET UP!"
    His favorite word was "REMODELING."
(He never actually DID anything mind you, just made my dad and my uncles do it.)
Umm, what else did they do...
Oooh, my dad dug a whole so he could patch the concrete basement wall. And that was outside.
In Illinois with it's lovely clay.

I have all of those things in my house, and have for the entire time we've lived here. Is the writing on the wall?

Oh, but why should he do it when he had three perfectly capable sons to do so!

yea, he was pretty lazy. My dad and his brothers came to fear going to Lowes, and generally hated the word "remodeling."

He built a bathroom, down in the basement...
Just because he didn't want to go upstairs. (Because his workshop was downstairs, he built model airplanes and whatnot. And he'd come up all dizzy, and he'd wonder why... Perhaps because of the glue and paint?? )

Either way, he was a maniac when it came to remodeling.

Well, I could have continued to overlook the remodeling issues....
but it was just too difficult to overlook his personality everyday.

It's already worked itself out, that's thing...=| And unfourtantly it was not exactly what I wished would've happened, but... *shrugs* it was for the best...

It'll just take a little (okay, maybe a long) time for my brain to wrap around this newfound fact in my life.

Mental retardation of the gayest proportions was all around me tonight: I somehow wound up at some dude's house where they were having a Wrestlemania 24 pay-per-view party. Just how low am I willing to go for some free pizza, booze, and weed?
I'm just a boy with a heart full of love
