a spanish-language telenovela, a co-production between Argentina's Telefe and Mexico's Televisa. This romantic comedy features Abril (Romina Yan) and Marcos (Daminan de Santos), two singles who are forced to share an apartment in Buenos Aires even though they cannot stand each other.
During it's airing, the show was one of the most-watched programs in Telefe. Televisa also bought the rights to do a mexican version. The Mexican version stars Vanessa Guzman and Raśl Araiza. The Mexican version is taped in Buenos Aires, on the same studio the original version was taped.
Telemundo first aired the Mexican version in the US from October 25, 2006 until February 9, 2007, then announced that the unaired episodes will air in the future.[1] As with most of its other soap operas, the network broadcasts Amor Mio with English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.
This is the first Televisa program ever to air on Telemundo. While Televisa has an exclusive deal with Univision until 2017, Telefe kept the distribution rights for the US and Puerto Rico, then sold the show to Telemundo.[
