...not including the Smiths or Morrissey ones I mean. You do listen to other music don't you???

Well since I've finally become a member of the ever growing Napster community (geeesh!) I just roamed around and these are the ones that make me tick at the moment:

- "letting the cables sleep" by Bush - true heartbreak stuff, turns me from feeling desperate about being alone in a big city into accepting it though. For a moment.

- "That I" by Alanis Morrissette strangely enough, because I usually don't like her, or the voice infact.... but this one's nice.

- "Velvet" by a-ha....purrrr....purrrr.....

- "Get ready" by the Temptations, uplifting, energetic, good stuff....

- "Wish we never met" by Kathleen Wilhoite, I picked this one up at Cinderella's house and it's THAT song....any further comment would be giving away too much, listen for yourself if you like. It's quite sad though I'm warning you.

- "Not an addict" by K's choice, also sucked off Cinderella's pc, is simply one of these goose-skin kind of songs. I felt that when I heard it for the very first time and I'm usually not that easily led.

Okay this might not be interesting for anyone but note that at least I'm trying to get back into some sort of discussion and draw the attention from nagging about the state of the board. And for anyone intending to whine about this post having no Morrissey content: F.uck you!

"Don't Worry About the Government" by Talking Heads. Listened to the song on repeat while brushing my teefs. What a tizzy, ne?

"Sweet Shop Avengerz" by Bis. Yep. Bis, they so give me grand mal attacks.

"The Hymn for the Things We Didn't Do" by Hefner. I hate how most of their songs start out the SAME way, but they're good kids.

"Mesh" and the first version of "We All Stand" by Barney & The JD's. Wish they'd kept that much more original, relaxing, (rather) jazzy style.

"Crystal Lake" by Grandaddy. Good for sleepy time.

"Walked in Line" by Joy Division. Dah`iz punk rawkers, tight phatness-hyukhyukguffaws! Not really. Song goes well with Maus, don't it? Cheesy feel, though.

Good idea!
I'm unable to access napster so and i don't listen to the radio, so this may be stale;
Once around the block - Badly Drawn Boy Bouncy, melodic but very restrained.
You only tell me you love me when you're drunk- Pet Shop boys.... they have a knack of knocking out striking tunes like this (Very is a great album)
Also i think that their titles are very "Morrissey" like.
Sexuality - Billy Bragg , not his best but features Johnny Marr and Kirsty Macoll things we do to remember..

Joel RL Phelps - Apology Accepted (a Go-Betweens cover)

> - "Velvet" by a-ha....purrrr....purrrr.....

couldn*t resist, he*s just too good looking....

"Idioteque" still.......by Radiohead

"Chalet Lines" by B&S. A overlooked gem.

"Romeo's Distress"-Christian Death Everytime I hear this song still to this day, it takes me back to 14, and I feel the sudden urge to start shadow dancing around the bedroom.

"Can't Get No(Satisfaction)-Cat Power Wonderful cover

"Nancy Boy"-Placebo Still love this song.

The new PJ Harvey album.....

Poor Rozz, it'll be 2 years since his death in april

Let's see what's in my soundjam playlist:
"Everything in it's right place"-radiohead. I imagine this to be my entrance song to a boxing match. It raises the hair on my head.
"Fluorescences"-stereolab. just dreamy
"Transformers theme (deceptacon mix)"-somebody did it. Who doesn't love the transformers?
"Reflections after Jane"-the clientele.
"This charming man"-stars. Well, it's a nice light loungy song.
"F*ck the pain away"-peaches. Halarious, pure ego song.
"ex-cowboy (live)"-mogwai. It takes a while for a bunch of their songs to explode with a force, but this song is all energy.
"Dark entries"-bauhaus. Just the lunatic ramblings gets the nod to be in full rotation on my walkman.

Well, they're my favorite for now. It'll change real soon.

Listening to the radio, I like the ones by Dido and Rage Against the Machine "Renegades of Funk".

"There's No Other way" Blur

"Don't Answer Me" Alan parsons Project

"Haiku (Krome-XL Mix)" Superstar DJ Keoki

"Honey" U2

"Train in Vain" Clash

"Playgirl" (..or something) Ladytron

"Divine Thing" Soup Dragons

......This is what happens when there is nothing but $hit being released by the record companies. Do I give a slut about the new release from O-Town, no. How about the Steely Dan release from the vaults..uh no. Goddamn you record companies!!!!!!!! Release something!

I NEVER THOUGHT ANY MUSIC COULD MOVE ME AS MUCH AS THE SMITHS. I WAS WRONG. YOU MUST ALL LISTEN TO A GROUP CALLED "CAMPAG VELOCET". xxx
