Debbie Harry, Nigel Harrison, Clem Burke, Jimmy Destri, Frank Infante and Chris Stein are the ‘Parallel Lines’ era Blondie. Blondie started recording (without Harrison and Infante) and had a big hit with,er, ‘Maria (you ought to see her)’ [gag]. Seems that because they weren’t invited they tried to sue the others and stop them using the name ‘Blondie’. It would be like, dream-on, Morrissey and Marr getting together as ‘The Smiths’ and Rick & Bruce suing them to stop them using the name.
