    Default Blondie

Did anyone see the Blondie thing on BBC1 last night?

Was it me being tired or did the show not explain things?

Why did the ex members leave the band and why did they sue?

I thought that Debbie Harry and Chris Stein looked like tossers by the end.

Yes, I did (sorry about the late reply).

Debbie Harry, Nigel Harrison, Clem Burke, Jimmy Destri, Frank Infante and Chris Stein are the ‘Parallel Lines’ era Blondie. Blondie started recording (without Harrison and Infante) and had a big hit with,er, ‘Maria (you ought to see her)’ [gag]. Seems that because they weren’t invited they tried to sue the others and stop them using the name ‘Blondie’. It would be like, dream-on, Morrissey and Marr getting together as ‘The Smiths’ and Rick & Bruce suing them to stop them using the name.
