I've only been to the states once (Atlanta and Greenville business trip if you're interested) and remember thinking that the guys possibly look after themselves better than the British (well, the blokes who went drinking anyway) but they weren't a great looking bunch.

Besides that one trip, my only other experience of USA guys is guests from Jerry Springer.....so that's why I voted British

South Carolina. Meeting one of the biggest customers from my job - showing them how to access our system over the web etc - was more of a "jolly" and reward to me for being so great at my job

Atlanta was great, so I guess that's where "Nowhere in particular" is then? Oh for the sake of clarity, I've just remembered that it was Buckhead specifically. Although I think I walked the best part of the whole distance from Buckhead to Atlanta itself on a drunken mission to find my hotel......

Do you know of Cafe Riske? It is advertised all along the main highway from Atlanta to Greenville. My boss *made* me go in there with him and take a "dance" from one of the girls there.......

Ah yes, Cafe Riske....and no, I have not stopped in there, but I do know the nature of their business. A friend of mine bought a gag gift there, king dong or some such thing.

Correct, Seasick obviously knows more about this place than you! Never before has bombarded advertising had such an effect on me - every one mile there is/was a billboard on the highway "Cafe Riske 15 miles" with a picture of a nice lady who must have been poor as she had hardly any clothes.

Lets just say I will never think of "I touch myself" in quite the same way ever again. Erm, actually, all the experience did was confirm what I already liked about that song! I also spent a couple of bucks in a larger version of that type of place in Buckhead called "Pink" something; "Pink Hippo"? "Pink Rhino"? Perhaps Seasick can come to the rescue on this one again with stories from their "friend"

So, again, back to topic, I kinda just realised that I only read this question as referring to blokes for some bizzare reason. So, I'm sure you will all be very happy to hear, I am now able to give you my thoughts on girlies from the respective countries:

I think American woman are FINE, very, very FINE, with the exception of one girl who was asking me to dance in a bar in Buckhead.
But a lot of British girls are also fine.
So are Australians.
And French.
And Dutch (I wasn't going to forget you Jeanne ).
And Swedish.

I'm glad you believe me, thank you. oh wait, you don't do you? Eitherway, it was bizzare, it is just like a normal truck stop type cafe but there's girls with bruised legs dancing around poles (as in big sticks, not people from Poland). Luckily my dance was with a really pretty and pleasant girl called "Amber" (who had no bruises that I could see) from Athens which then made me think of REM. It was only at this point, whilst enjoying my Buffalo Wings with a hot sauce, and celery sticks, that I agreed to pay her the $30 for her services.
