Help: New York Dolls CD signing in NYC & LA

I have always admired the New York Dolls. They influenced so many bands including Motley Crue, The Sex Pistols, and Rush. I am fond of their music and have been trying to angle to get an autographed CD at one of their 2 cd signings at either NYC or LA. They're original bassist has passed however I am still heavily interested....
