Where do you go?
Who do you need to know?
Any ideas? Maybe somebody can speak from personal experience...?

There is a serious moral deficiency in anyone who has no problem taking a creature's life in order to fill their own stomach.
Try skydiving..... you will never be more alive than when you fling yourself out of an airplane at 14,000 ft and freefall to 3000 ft and open your parachute.
Tandum jumps are running approx $180 in the U.S. and for those who have never done it, its well worth it. If that does not jump start your life, nothing will.

You guys are really into shock treatment, aren't you? I was thinking something more gradual, like some everyday activity... I'm new to this Life thing, you know![]()

If you have never made a skydive, the adrenaline pump is phenominal on your 1st one. After that its like crack, you keep going hopeing to get another rush. here is a hint for ya... you might get a rush from jumping, but it will never be like the first one....ever. And I jump all the time in hopes of getting that feeling again.

P.S. You never mentioned you wanted to ease into anything. Im just giving you a way to make yourself feel ALIVE. If your going to go out... GO ALL OUT! Best of luck, and Blue skies.
Bah! Life is for the living and the unimaginative. I regularly prefer dreaming and the company of the dead... the rest of the time I'm just agoraphobic.![]()

The funniest thing is that both points of view make sense in some weird way... But I may as well try skydiving![]()

A little less expensive, and less bracing, than skydiving, is dancing. Go out to a club and whether you stand on your own or leave on your own, dance while you're there.

I recently logged out and went to a club and prior to leaving on my own I had some pretty amazing time.![]()
It was a concert actually - the band was playing ska-jazz and there were about 100 people in a rather spacious venue - no drunks - no cigarette smoke, good ventilation. As soon as the band went on stage the crowd just formed the rows, like on the dance class (which it was not) and started dancing. For 2,5 hours non stop. Learning new moves from each other, smiling, singing alone. Brilliant night! Now that was quite a unique life experience!
(still my vote goes to skydiving)![]()
I do get out and about with my RAC stand, I'm not sat in an office on here all day every day.Originally Posted by chica

I'd like to join the general consensus about dancing. It is good, and it's even better if you're in good company. I just came home from a concert of Cuban music, my feet are killing me, but it was worth it![]()

Yes, the general consensus. I haven't the "feel" or ability for anything of the sort -- other than, say, a gentle slow-dance (more a floating embrace) with a beloved partner. Besides, the role of wallflower is more comfortable and befitting (I have practice!).Originally Posted by chica
That said, I do have silly reveries about Victorian ballroom dancing.![]()
