Willies and plums are a fiddle because of cramped working space, but they're just two little flaps, knitted on stitches picked up from the doll's groin (see picture), then sewn up around their contents, so no, they are not inherently difficult. To change the upper body contour from male to female demands increase and decrease rows that affect the front of the body. Picking up stitches mid-row leaves holes and looks rubbish. So no joy on that front, as it were.
