To be fair, I wouldn't be happy if someone spoke to me like that. I like some of her songs, and I don't know why Morrissey doesn't if he likes Kristeen Young - she's just a self-obsessed, try-too-hard to look 'arty' version of Tori Amos isn't she?

I do wonder about that story. He doesn't tend to be that rude to people to their faces. And the thing about her wearing heels...she's minute. Nobody's going to be threatened by her wearing heels. I have my doubts.

I don't think Tori's story is true. Spydy's right, she's tiny and he's very tall. My guess is that she was a bit tipsy either at the concert or when the alleged incident occurred. She loves his music, though. *sigh*

I think KY and Tori are similar only in that they are fine musicians. I LOVE KY, I suspect my early love for Tori helped peak my interest when I first heard about her opening for Moz because I have a soft spot for strong piano wielding women. Then when I saw KY live I realized she's the real deal. There's nothing worse than a woman behind a piano who fades into the cliche of the soft, weak-lyriced flowers-in-her-hair doll. We need the opposite -- more women singer/song writers like both KY and Tori (before the Christmas album debacle)! Someone my kid can grow up respecting and idolizing - there's no one else out there to offset the vapid and weak Miley Cyrus/Britany brigade.

People also overlook KY's genius as a lyricist. She's a WONDERFUL writer. Tori is more of an impressionist with words, her words capture feelings beautifully. KY does the same, but with an added punch in the gut and upper left to the eye.

But anyway, enough of my off topic rambling.....MORE FRINK
