If we were to make a bold assumption that Morrissey will never work again, what should happen to this site?

How likely do we think it is that he will work again? Why?

He most likely will not record again (that's excluding greatest hit albums/compolations). I can see him doing Peta promotions, or some sort of orgizational thing. Honestly, I doubt that he will record more than one more album in his lifetime.

Why, because he seems to have no real motivation to get albums out now, and if he's that far away from it at this stage in his (dwindling) career then there really isn't much hope for a rebirth at a later date.

*Unless of course he fathers a child with Madonna, and then he'll most likey follow her lead, run back to the studios and start recording drivel that will appeal to the 15 and under crowd to re-gain his past fame and fortune* Ha!

    > How likely do we think it is that he will work again? Why?

This site will be as it is right now. A smattering of posts about every little thing of Morrissey, with no real up-coming album/tour information.

It would become a quagmire of nauseating nostalgia about His glory days.

He might be able to get a job on BBC2, presenting the critically acclaimed late night programme "cheeses of the world", starting of course in the Holy Land with the Christmas special "cheeses of Nazareth"

Morrissey will end each evening by gazing wistfully into the camera and say "of course I'll always be a chedder man myself, goodnight, don't have nightmares"

You're too pessimistic. Morrissey has spoiled you by making "an album" a year for ten years. Now three years later we're all too ready to judge. If I can wait, so can you.

Think Elvis, Fleetwood Mac and Tony Bennett.

    "Now here you go again

You say you want your freedom

Well who am I to keep you down"

I can wait, although I don't believe that he will put out another album.
Yes, I've lost my faith. But, let's hope that I'm wrong about it all *fingers crossed*
