    He can't even get the basic facts straight; lol you'd think he'd do some basic research if he was going to claim he's a fan. Here's an extract from an interview with our local rag when he was up here in Manchester a couple of weeks ago.

    "3. Name four bands from Manchester

    'The Smiths from Salford,' he replied instantly. 'I'm a big fan.'"

    It shows how dreadful the Manchester Evening News is that they didn't pull him up on this obvious factual inaccuracy about a band of whom he claims to be a fan.

    This is the man who said he quite liked the Arctic Monkeys album before it had actually been released. He'd sell his own granny to get elected.
