    Default The animal in you

    I'm a swan!

And yes, Wally, baboons are represented as well...

Both The Animal in You and Animal Attraction (Roy Feinson. St. Martin's Press) feature the following personality test to help determine your animal personality. Simply answer the questions below and the test will build a mathematical model that corresponds to your animal personality. It only takes a few minutes to complete.

Be as honest as you can. You might want to get ratings from people that know you well (secret voting is recommended for reasons that will become obvious). If none of the descriptions quite match, simply rate yourself on a scale of 1-5 or 1-3 as shown. If you're in doubt about a particular score, just retake the test and see how these changes affect your animal personality.

There are almost fifty species in the database -- each chosen to represent a common personality type. Remember that many animal personalities are simply incompatible with others, so fill out the test for your friends and co-workers to discover where your relationships go right and wrong. Carnivores should generally not be paired with small herbivores, while canine personalities (dogs, wolves, foxes) should not be in relationships with felines (wildcats, lions, tigers), etc. On the other hand, non-carnivorous mammals make for easy-going companions, while bird personalities tend to make for superficial friends.

There is a reason why we have animal personalities and to fully understand why nature has made sure of this, click here. Remember that people adopt their animal personalities to cope with the tumult of everyday life and may unconsciously change their animal personality as their circumstances change.

    Default A porcupine!

    This troubles me...

"If there were two words that summarized the porcupine lover, they would be use protection! For in the bedroom, the porcupine tends to be a little too curious and explorative. For them, sex is a gala event that should be spiced with all manner of strange toys and odd positions."

    +

    "Famous Porcupines
Don Rickles, Joan Rivers, Bobcat Goldthwaite."

    = Disturbing imagery.
