Can we expect any special-guests at the aftershow?
Boz,Gaz or Jesse?

not 22 years....
he was in holland in '99

leuk stukje op die NL site.

He was in Tilburg in 1999 and in Utrecht in 1991, yes.
But the last time he played Amsterdam was 21 april 1984!

> leuk stukje op die NL site.

Ja, die Gijsbert Kamer is een echte fan. Ben benieuwd naar zijn ROTT-recensie in De Volkskrant.

Matt more likely

I remember him saying in Tilburg '99.
'How is tilburg? Is it nice or is it horrible?'
I think it was horrible, the aftershow
was even better than the concert self.

But he meant the place, not the gig of course!
I thought the gig was allright itself, but the reception Moz received was terrible. No enthusiasm whatsoever from the crowd.
Of course the setlist didn't help, I think Moz only played 2 singles...
I hope and expect a much better reception this time!

Totally agree on this, the gig wasn't that bad, the audience was crap, idiots shouting for Johnny Marr all the time (Morrissey's response was : "Oh, you're SO intelligent").

I've been watching the DVD of the Utrecht show in 1991 recently, this was my first time I saw Morrissey, and that was a fantastic gig. I will never forget the atmosphere of that night...

And now it's time for Amsterdam and Pinkpop. Let's wait and see how the dutch audience will respond this time. I have the feeling that the dutch media are all of a sudden supporting morrissey again, whereas they didnt pay too much attention for a long long time...

oh boy can you make a copy, can I buy a copy? I was there and would love to see it again. Is it a copy of the Vredenburg closed circuit camera system or is it an audience recording?

I have this show on vhs, so if you can copy it to dvd, I could lend it to you.

Johan, someone probably can do it for me. I will see if that is the case and come back to you. Thanks!

Yes, the Oor-review was pretty positive (not online unfortunately), and here is another positive review: http://www.platomania.nl/maniagenre.asp?cdid=19711&platomanianr=214

well, are these independent reviews? how serious can you take a review from a record store? Its not as if they'll be saying "it's a crap album that you should not buy!"

ROTT comes with YHKM for free!

You are right, but it is not the same 'review' as on the Plato-site. Platomania actually rates the albums, and they do sometimes give less than 4 star ratings Just check the magazine out in your local record store.
