Default Drugs trial goes wrong (tenuous Moz link)

As Moz said 'animals aren't humans'; their physiology can't predict our reactions to drugs. How do you prevent stuff like this happening? I don't know, but i'm pretty sure animal testing is archaic and useless; and they have to test on humans afterwards anyway. Perhaps, as horrible as this is, it could force science into developing a human simulation, or updating current computer simulations. A very tricky issue.
