[VanGogh had the right idea]

ROTT is by far the worst Morrissey album to date. Nothing has ever bored me more. It's the same old same old yet again. He'll never make that mistake again, but oh he's made it over and over and you know it's over.

My favorite line from this cd is "blah blah blah blah". That about sums it up best!

Listen to it over and over again? Why would I torture myself like that? Once was more than enough for me.

So many people here are into making themselves learn to love things that aren't even immediately tolerable, let alone likeable. I don't see the point. If I don't like ROTT after one listen, into the bin it will go. (Actually, I'm a cheap bastard, so I'll probably sell it to the used record store, but you get the idea.)

If a cd is labled a "grower" then right there it tells you something is wrong. If you have to make yourself listen and listen and listen until you "kinda start to come around" to it, well then that speaks volumns for the quality of the content. Good cd's are good from the beginning. I'm not accepting this thought that you have to just drill it into your head repeatedly in order to like it. If you have to do that, the cd isn't very good to begin with.
