I was just wondering, in light of the fact that i live in the UK, where the best place to pre-order ROTT and t-shirt is?

Advise would be greatly appreciated.

They don't usually have a UK site for these things so you
have to pay the postage from the states.

Well, it would really be sad [!] if those in the UK didn't have access to the same preorder deal available to those in the U.S. However, someone on the message board at http://www.prettypettythieves.com was saying last night that the t-shirts weren't available in the UK. I thought this sounded kind of ridiculous, so I made a fake user account at the Musictoday store where the shirts are available, then went through the motions of trying to buy one of the shirt+CD packages. When I went to choose where to ship it, only 'the United States' was available as a country. No other countries/choices on the drop-down menu.

However, if this offer isn't available to UK residents, I'd have thought we'd have heard a lot more [rightful] loud fuss about it already? I've seen some Britons make mention of preordering the t-shirt, but I don't know if they've actually attempted to go through the steps or not?

So, someone should really try it out, email Musictoday to confirm etc. That's also probably the best way to get shipping questions answered. Being inside the U.S., when I chose a shipping method, I could either pick 'Express Shipping' that they say is 'Guaranteed to arrive ON release date' for $16 (which I picked; I'll report), or another shipping method taking 3-5 days; I think that was perhaps $9?

If these t-shirts are NOT available to fans outside the U.S., (1) that will be incredibly LAME and (2) if you want one (or both), you can email me [math at beltyourpleasure dot com], I'm inside the U.S. and happy to help international fans get shirts if they want them. I don't have specific details in mind, but I offer to act as a conduit if necessary.
