it skips; it doesn't exactly fail... but you're right, audio programs don't see the stream.
how did You Have Killed Me get ripped from MySpace?
i can route the sound out but to what kind of recorder?
like do i have to go find a friend with another computer?

Its programmed to either slow down or stutter when audio software is engaged, amazon aint stupid.

it DOES rip, and the answers no
in audiocity go to project>new stereo track, then hit record and play the track in WMPlayer straight after. When you've recorded a track go to file, and encode to MP3...you may need the free download LAME to do this. but yes, it can be done.

i tried what you said, Audacity only records silence no matter when i engage it, or when the stutter comes in the file.

This is not true..period. If I had access to these files they would be ripped already. I had to rip streams for a classmate that needed a video for a paper he was writing.
Whatever the songs will be ripped any second now..
