How to copy ANY protected CD onto PC (read all you with the album)

Okay so the hitch is you need a soundcard with an 'in' on it.

If you have a digital (optical) in on your soundcard, and an digital out on your amp or CD player, you can make a perfect copy NO MATTER WHAT copy protection is on there.

Even if you have just a standard 'in' on your soundcard (mini-plug) you can still make a damn good copy.

How to do it: you connect up your CD player (or amp if you are using a separates system and want to do that) with either a standard lead (if non digital) or an optical cable (for digital), to your soundcard. Both of these cables cost between £5 and £10 from any Dixons.

Download the program 'Audacity' (google it and you can get it - it's free). Then open audacity, click on the record button, with 'stereo' selected, then just press play in your CD player. When the recording is done, press stop on recording, then save the file as an mp3.

This circumvents ALL copy protection. The signal from your CD player out via the leads, cannot be copy protected when it comes into your PC.

If only someone who has the moz CD would do this, instead of moaning 'oh there is copy protection'. And most people have sound cards and cd players that are capable of this. You only need a very cheap lead.
