though newcomers may have to bite through the layers of sarcasm, cynism and irony in order to find that out. Posting's still free, and I would vigourously oppose any censorship, so ...
It can be considered a pity, though, if honest or interesting discussions are torpedoed by relentless offtopic incursion or agression.
Besides that, this space is very much alive, and kicking. For the persistent ones, the "milkman of human kindness" (quote!) leaves every now and then a fresh pint of hiw brew.
