Oh right, for some reason i thought this hadn't been well recieved in the US, but after reading it had been singed up for a 3rd series, it can't be that bad.

    I'll check it out

I think it got off to a slow start ratingswise, but has apparentlyl gone from strength to strength since then. I saw the pilot a couple of years back, and it didn't impress me, but it was early days, so I'm sure improvements have been made since then.

Not as good as the UK version. Ricky is a Morrissey fan, Steve Carrell is not. ...The X Mas special may have been the been thing I've ever seen on televsion.

Default As a Yank, I can truly say that the UK version shits on the US version.

    Ricky Gervais is brilliant.

the uk office was a masterpiece. how could you follow it? with the exception of friends cheers and curb your enthusiasm i dont enjoy us sitcoms. however the us office is suprisingly good very subtle and the characters are very well cast. series 2 in particular is particularly strong. check it out for a laugh. steve carrell is hilarious
