Alain Whyte: No Moz Tour (?)

RL is booking and surely will have dates that will prevent Alain from playing with Morrissey. This is disappointing. I've always been impressed with Morrissey as an english band - and having Tobias in and Alain out is unsettling. This is the second American drummer (correct?) and the first American guitarist (correct?). I enjoyed the YATQ tour, however, I was never comfortable seeing the new guitarist on stage. Tobias' writing isn't spectacular, as you'll hear when you get the album in your hands. Does it matter to any to see Alain back in the picture, completely?

I personally think that's quite sad. I haven't heard his songwriting yet but I always thought that Alain laid out a rather appropriate carpet for Morrissey's words to dance on. That will be hard to compete with.

I wouldn't complain much about Jesse's guitar playing, but as for his stage presence...well....there wasn't any.
