    Default Morrissey solow Indeed

I come to this site to hear the latest news to participate in polls and to share my opinions. I really like this site and I appreciate the hard work that goes in to making it what it is, but I’m getting really tired of so-called Morrissey fans coming on here with the only intention of criticising him.

I think some of you need reminding that this site is called Morrissey solo, not Mike Joyce s...Oh yeah, that’s right he hasn't done anything since 87, well apart from robbing the other band members, as well robbing us of the legacy that was the Smiths.

Couldn't agree more. He should have shut up a long time ago because I don't want to think about lawsuits when I listen to Smiths records.

I agree. You’d think he'd be content and proud that he was part of one of the greatest (if not the greatest) bands in the world, but that’s obviously not enough, not for someone like Mike Joyce. He fells the need to drag, not only his own name, but the Smiths name and everything it stands for through the mud.

This being a Morrissey fan site does not me that Morrissey is beyond reproach here. If that were the case, then it would be nothing more than some bizarre cult site (which it is dangerously close to being).

It seems like what you're looking for is Julia's site. So, instead of telling level headed, free thinkers how to post, maybe you should take your won advice and find greener pastures.

I'm quite sure that there are many Moz forums out there that are just dying for 24 hours of absolute Morrissey praise.

No, I'm looking for a site that doesn't slate him at every opportunity .I'm not saying that every post needs to be overflowing with Morrissey praise, but you have to admit that some of the posts recently have been a bit much, I was beginning to wonder if I had logged on to a Morrissey hate site by mistake.

I get the impression its the same few people though. Morrissey is bound to attract a few Mark Chapman types.

What are you smoking? This site is rampant with blind Morrissey praise. People have absolutely taken his word on what occurred witht he royalties, without any circumspection. That's bizarre to me.

Hell, I'm probably repsponsible for half of the criticisms on here because I am attempting to be a voice of reason in a crowd of claptrap.
