I agree 100%. It just goes to show how many music-snobs there are about. At least he has a bit of talent & obviously a good taste in music.

It's also a way of letting people who may otherwise have not heard of them/Moz, get a chance to investigate them & gain some insight in to the wonderment that was The Smiths.

Will Young is everything I despise in modern pop music.

Desperate to please, he will do just about anything to get his ugly mug in the papers or on tv. Gurns for the cameras at every opportunity just to prove how down to earth he is.

Is totally fake and "nice" so as not to upset anyone. He has nothing to say.

Can just about hold a tune so he is acclaimed as fantastically talented. Have standards slipped that low?

He is totally banal.
