Have you heard Kate Bush's new effort? I caught a song called 'Mrs. Bartolozzi' on the radio yesterday, and in this song there's the refrain "Washing machine!, washing machine!" A Bold, very Bold thing to sing about....especially when the album is titled 'Aerial'. I suppose it was an automatic choice really. Apparently the tune is influenced by the work of Henry Persil.

... so this guy and his wife liked to play this little sex game they called washing machine. Well, one night he comes home late from work and the only thing that got him through the day was thinking about coming home and playing washing machine. So he crawls into bed and asks his wife "Can we play washing machine tonight?"

She's really tired and tells him no. Then she gets to thinking about how hard he works and how little pleasure he has in his life so she turns to him after a while and says "well, okay, we can play washing machine if you like", but he turns back to her and says "that's okay, it was a light load. I did it by hand".
