fatboy slim remix of jeane

my copy of the "this charming man" cd single has a tiny little scratch on it at the beginning of "jeane" which causes the cd player to repeat the title of the song infinately (well at least 23 and a half minutes as i couldn't take it more than that) which when you think about it, it's a bit freaky really-what i want to know is can it be fixed? or will i just have to tell anyone that asks that i've got a fatboy slim remix of the song. if anyone can help please let me know.

i don't care how bad it is, it can't be nearly as annoying as fat boy slim...

EEEWW! the fatboy has to go...

You can try one of those scratch repair cloths, for starters. Or call around in your area, the indie record store that I frequent, offers a "Cd Reconditioning" service that claims to repair but the most horrible of damamge. Good Luck!
