The Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade are having 2 anti-fur demos next Saturday (22nd). We are going to meet at 12:30pm at the AFAR (Aliance For Animal Rights) information stall on Westmoreland Street (College Green, beside the Central Bank).

When enough people have arrived and we're all ready (by around 1pm) we are going to have our first demo at fur store Barnardo's (108 Grafton Street, Dublin 2).

After an hour at Barnardo's, we will move on to have our second demo at Joseph Ltd. (Brown Thomas, 88-95 Grafton Street, Dublin 2) for about an hour. For more information on Joseph Ltd. : www.caft.org.uk

After we have finished (by about 3:00/3:00pm) some of us are going to visit 2 stalls in the Georges Street Arcade who sell fur items (The Studio Shop and Igloo Scarves & Ties). 2 weeks ago we had left leaflets and a video with them, so we are hoping that they have now had a change of heart.

Fine, but..........

As long as none of those on the walk have leather trainers or shoes, leather belt and eat meat.
I've been on these demos and it doesnt bode well when half the walkers are hypocrites or thick.
Good luck, dont mean to undermine the cause.

mmm, yes, it is a bit wtf?? when people do that. Be assured I will be covered entirely in plastic.
