i was just listening to "i know it's over" as you do when you have great taste in music, like us. I think the end is Moz's best ever vocal performance, it's just flawless and heartbreaking. Well it's my fave, what's yours? ...

good question, The Smiths "I Won't Share You" for tonight anyway, Solo.."I know its (not over) gonna happen someday" and "Trouble loves me" take some beating for the impassioned vocals.

"I Know it's Over" from Rank -- the ever more desperate and strangulated repetition of "Mother I can feel..." wasting, at last, into a series of voluptuous moans. THIS, to me, is Moz's finest moment.

I listen to Morrissey less than i used to and haven;t heard I Know Its Over in ages. Its an amazing song, one of his finest moments, and in my opinion is better than any of his solo work. The question of whether it is one of his greatest voal performances is another matter, I'm not sure. I love it when he furiously spits out the words at the start of The Queen is Dead on Rank, Marr's guitar bosses it here too.
Still Ill and William simply floor me not matter how many times I hear them. When Moz roars William I can barely believe something can sound so perfect. Moz Solo? Hm, I'm not sure actually- maybe Nobody Loves Us?
fuck me !!!!!!!!you're one boring loser
