The World of Morrissey version is infinitely superior to the one in the Manchester DVD, mainly for the killer bass lines which are absolutely gone in the latter!!!
Also that 'crash into myayayayarms' voice inflection in the Mancunian show SUX !! Weird how Moz is intuitive enough to know fans love that song but he doesn't care ruining it in an attempt to make it sound different....
What do u think?

Well, the BWD/WOM version is very good indeed, but the 2004 version - especially the Chicago House of Blues version - is better. The gushing strings and different vocal melody make it perfect.

Well Deano is simply a better player I suppose (according to Moz at least)
I think Spencer did a top-notch work though....

Does no one else think that the way he takes the "I want you line" up rather than keeping it steady turns this song in to a masterpiece on Who put the M? Well on the tour in general (when performed). I saw him do it two or three times (one being the who put the m gig at manchester) and for me just taking that line up turned the song from a favourite of mine to an absolute must have on any home made compolation for the car!
