Default Klaus Nomi - The Collection

The most unique artist of the late 70s/early 80s synth explosion, Klaus Nomi's short career of creativity and grandeur is best introduced through 'The Collection'. Containing tracks from his first two albums, 'The Collection' is a mix of catchy synth-pop classics, like 'Just One Look' and 'Falling In Love Again', and serious choral pieces, like 'Death' and 'From Beyond'. The impressive operatic single 'Cold Song' and the fusion of rock and classical genres on the strangly popular 'Total Eclipse' are (obviously) included in this unofficial "best of" compilation. Although this artist may be unknown to many, his angelic voice and androgynous style are still a quite fascinating and worthy experience, as proved with 'The Collection'.
