You've prolly ALL heard it before cos yer clever sodded clogs. It's a live version of "I Know It's Over" recorded in Lost Angeles circa 1886 i believe. I really love it when he has a paddy at the start...it sounds like he's giving the venue security a good bloody rollocking and rightly so i say. He also seems to be shhhhhhhhing a women who seems to be wailing out constantly...maybe she was in labour, maybe it was Mary Margaret O' Hara trying hard to impress, who knows.....answers on an e-card, you kids with all yer gadgets.

Let the bollocking commence i say....click on good people.

Losing one's temper is no more a trait of the Irish than it is of any other race.

FFS - are you sure you live in Ireland. Have been in town at night lately? Do you watch the news or read the paper? The Keanes in Limerick, the Westies in Dublin, John Gilligan, The Monk and all the other Sunday World hoodlums?
1916, 1921, 1798, The White Boys, Na Fianna, The fenians, IRA, INLA, pIRA, RIRA, CIRA, LVF, UDA, B-specials, Free State army, Civil War. Even the folklore is strewn with tales of war. Strongbow, the battle of Kinsale. "The Fighting Irish", Garda Jerry McCabe, The Omagh bombing, The Dublin and Monaghan bombings, Guildford, Birmingham, Manchester, Shoot to kill in the north, Punishment beatings, kneecapping, Veronica Guerin. To name a few. And you can't blame the Bits for everything.

    Hurling, football, faction fighting

But sure aren't we great craic all the same?

I think you may be confusing hospitability and peacefulness

But.........the word paddy is a term which has offensive and derogatory connations which should never be used just as the "n" word should never be used to describe those of African origin etc.

First of all, "Irish" is not a race, it is, rather, an ethnicity. Now, ethnicities -- those who share common and distinctive national, religious, and cultural heritage -- vary in the extent in which open displays of aggression are tolerated and condoned, so of course there are differences.

On the matter of race, egalitarian sentiments, however pious, are unwarranted and counterintuitive. That blacks have, on average, higher levels of testosterone and demonstrate a shorter time-horizon while, say, asians have, comparatively, lower levels of hormone and a more expansive time-horizon should translate to behavioural consequences i.e. marked racial differences in aggressiveness.
