Damn!

How fantastic were these b-sides?!

Journalists Who Lie
&
Tony The Pony

Those were the days.

Add the top notch A-Side and topped off with that lovely picture of Morrissey among the trees.

Ah, heaven.

I'm listening to this one now:

Ugh, so good.

I love Tony the Pony- just don't say I didn't warn you!

My favourite has always been the Everyday is Like Sunday 12" -- Sister I'm a Poet, Disappointed, Will Never Marry.

The elegantly sullen cover photo.

Invaluable.

Tony the Pony has to be the catchies moz song i've ever heard. It's back in my head now, cheers, took me about a month to stop singing it, damn you! It's one of those songs you have to listen to as soon as you get up just to try & get it out of your head because you realise it's been in your brain all night long.

I don't know why Moz doesn't like it though!
It's worth a listen just to hear Morrissey say 'f***ed', if nothing else. Disgraceful.

Journalists Who Lie ... fantastic? Surely not! This is perhaps the worst song Moz ever released.

Well, in a sense, you're right ... I really didn't need to use the word "perhaps".

Tony The Pony is a great B-Side!!! I dont know why he didnt include it on the Kill Uncle album.

I love "Tony the Pony" - the production on it is really gorgeous and the lyrics hilarious.

Would've been a great single on its own, but then again there aren't that many Morrissey B-sides that wouldn't have, which is classic Morrissey I suppose - always clutching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I have a banner of that single that I won at a Moz convention a few years back. I always wondered where the picture came from. I guess it was because I heard of these b-sides and downloaded them from the net rather than purchased actual singles.

Take a look at the rest of the single covers on passionsjustlikemine.com for more lovely pictures.
